About the Candidate

A decade of service. A lifetime of building.

I am Benjamin Ejemoru — happily married, father of four, and a proud member of the Igbo community in Parma. For over ten years I have served Ohaneze Ndigbo Parma faithfully, first as Treasurer (2016–2018) and then as Secretary General (2018–2026).

Alongside my community work, I am a civil engineer by profession — a hands-on builder of structures and, in equal measure, of communities. Leadership, to me, is not a position. It is service, sacrifice, accountability, and results.

2018 — 2026

Secretary General

Eight years of steady, committed leadership.

2016 — 2018

Treasurer

Served with transparency and accountability.

Leadership Philosophy

“The progress of Ohaneze is greater than any individual.”

From ideas to implementation. From maintaining the status quo to building a lasting legacy for our children.

08

Transparency & Accountability

Regular financial reports, open communication, and collective decision-making at every level.
The Craft

Civil engineering. Built by hand, led with vision.

My profession is civil engineering — fabrication, welding, structural work, and on-site construction. The same discipline that shapes steel and concrete is what I bring to leadership: planning, precision, teamwork, and follow-through.
  • Metal fabrication & structural welding
  • On-site construction & formwork
  • Project coordination & delivery
  • Standards, safety, and quality control

“I build things that last — in steel, in concrete, and in community.”
